NEXT CLASS STARTS October 27th 2017

CALL TODAY TO ENROLL:  512-614-4012

Become a licensed Eyelash Extensions Specialist and create stunning lash looks for your clients!  This 320 hour course meets all the requirements of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for an Eyelash Extensions Specialist license. After completion of this course, students are eligible to take the state written and practical exams to receive their license.

At AW Skin Institute we make sure that each student learns specialized techniques for the most gentle and effective lash application. Our La
sh Instructors provide you with consistent information, but still bring their own flair to our program. Our hands-on instruction methods take you beyond the basics!

It's never too late to begin a new career!  No previous experience with extensions is necessary. As a student at AWSI, you will learn the safest, most efficient methods.  You will learn everything from the very basics of eyelash extensions to advanced application techniques. You will also learn the optimal application techniques to ensure that your extensions last.

At AWSI we teach you more than just how to apply eyelash extensions.  We teach proper care for the eye and the sensitive tissue under the eye.  Learning complete design technique is also unique to AWSI. Your lash instructors will explain how to incorporate the client's face shape, eye shape, brow shape, and desired look into one cohesive design.

You'll start by working on mannequins, like Lyn (pictured above) who now owns a successful practice very close to our school. She was one of the many students who came to us without any eyelash experience.  Mannequins allow lots of practice and ensure technical precision before you start working on real clients.

Hands-on learning is essential to gaining speed and precise application. Once a student has mastered working on mannequins they can practice on fellow students, friends, and family. We have a variety of curls and lengths to practice any desired look.  There is no shortage of eager model volunteers at the school!

After you have mastered the application and design techniques, you have the ability to practice your skills on real clients. Once you have graduated, you can go on job interviews with complete confidence in your skills!

Chelsey, pictured in the photo on the right, opened a spa in the suite next to her mother (who has been a hairstylist for over 20 years).  We are certain that this mother-daughter team will be a great success!

If you are interested in doing more than just eyelash extension services (facials, waxing, etc.), you will need to get an Esthetician license.  The eyelash extensions curriculum is covered in the Esthetician course, and licensed Estheticians are qualified to perform eyelash extensions.
