This course is for licensed Cosmetologists and Estheticians who would like to become a Cosmetology Instructor. It fulfills the 500 or 750 hour requirement for licensure with TDLR.  Students who have one year or more of working experience as a Cosmetologist or Esthetician are eligible to take the 500 hour course.  Students with less than a year of experience must take the 750 hour course.


If you have a passion for helping others learn, this course is a great way to expand your skill set and your Cosmetology career. You will learn the most efficient methods for teaching in the beauty industry, how to create effective lesson plans and engaging teaching aids, classroom management, and the best techniques for evaluating students. In this course we provide you with extensive hands-on training so you can effectively and confidently teach and manage your future classes!

TOTAL TUITION:  $4,750 (500 HOURS), $6,250 (750 HOURS)

ENROLLMENT FEE:  $25

TEXTBOOK, KIT, & SUPPLIES:  $725

LENGTH OF PROGRAM:

MINIMUM - 3 Months     MAXIMUM - 8 Months

A minimum of 21 hours per week is required for this course.
